Panoramic Imaging (OPG)

The CBCT reformatted panoramic images outperform the digital panoramic images acquired through conventional OPG machines. Cone beam images provide an undistorted and accurate dimensional view of the jaws.

Due to the fact that the CBCT images are reformatted slices of the maxilla and mandible, they are free of magnification, superimposition of neighboring structures, and other problems inherent to conventional panoramic radiology. This results in very clear images that better depict the anatomy of teeth and jaws.
